SGA-OIS — Open Interoperability Standard

Technology Partner Program

Build it with someone on the other end of the line.

The specification is public — read it, implement it, run the tools, ship it. A partner account is how you get a named contact person at SGA, downloads, tooling, and have a say in where the standard goes next. It is free.

What a partner account gets you

A person, not a mailbox

A named contact at SGA who knows your product and your integration, so an implementation question does not start from scratch every time.

The SGA Reference Simulator

A complete bay on one machine — simulator, launch monitor, bag and engine — to develop against, with every frame visible as it crosses the wire.

Downloads

Engine builds for every platform, test fixtures and the signed bundles — in one place, versioned.

Schema extension tools

Propose a field for the core namespace and open it to peer review and comment before it becomes part of the standard.

The community

Where the schema actually gets shaped: drafts before they are ratified, other implementers, and the review that keeps everyone compatible.

None of it costs anything. You do not need an account to read the specification, implement it, run the conformance kit against your build, or ship a product that speaks it. The account exists so that when something goes wrong at 2 a.m. in a bay in Ohio, there is a person on each side who knows who to call.

What you agree to, and what it unlocks

Creating your account means accepting the Technology Partner Agreement. It asks you to report data as it really happened, label how each value was obtained, never build a feature that lets a player cheat, and tell us promptly about any flaw you find that could make your product report false data. With a published digest of each release, that is trust level A1: your users’ rounds start counting toward an SGA Player Rating and leagues. Signing what your product sends reaches A2 and A3, sanctioned events, and the SGA Certified mark. How trust levels work →

What we ask of you

Three contacts, kept current. They can all be the same person — most partners start that way — but we ask for the roles separately because they may be called on for different reasons, and the worst time to discover an address is stale is the moment you need it.

We will never spam anyone or sell contact information.

  • Administrative. Agreements, certification, anything about the relationship itself.
  • Technical. Integration questions, breaking-change notices, conformance failures.
  • Abuse and fraud. Suspected tampering, a compromised signing key, a device behaving in a way that affects other people's rounds. It is also where you report a flaw that could let your product send false data, which the partner agreement asks of you. This one gets used rarely and urgently.

Anything else

Submitting sends your registration to SGA. We email each contact to confirm their address; nothing is shared with anyone else.
