Counting visits
golfsga.com and the SGA‑OIS site use Google Analytics to count
visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and how
they found us. It sets cookies (named _ga) so a return visit
is not counted as a new visitor.
- Never for advertising. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are off, and Google is told not to use this data for ads.
- Kept briefly. Visit-level data is kept for two months and visitor-level data for fourteen; what remains after that are totals.
- Asked first in Europe. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland no analytics cookie is set unless you allow it.
- Global Privacy Control is honored. If your browser sends it, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
