Bay certification

Not all bays
are the same.

Certification says what a room can actually prove — so an event can require a standard instead of hoping for one.

What certification means

Measured, not asserted.

A certified bay is assessed on what it can demonstrate rather than what it claims. Some of that the engine reports continuously: what the hardware measures rather than estimates, how each device proves its own identity, and how reliably the bay reaches the outside world.

The rest takes a person and a paper trail. Equipment is inspected for condition — a mat, a screen and a sensor all wear, and a room that measured well two years ago may not today. Calibration records are checked to make sure they are complete and current. And the rounds the bay has already produced are checked back over: shot data that drifts, or that does not square with how it was recorded, says more about a room than any single visit can.

Why it matters to you

For your player rating

Rounds from a certified bay carry full weight, because the measurements behind them are known.

For competition

Events can require a certification tier, so everyone in the field played on comparable equipment.

For choosing where to play

You will be able to see what a venue is certified for before you book it.

For facility operators

Certification is a reason to choose your room.

It tells serious players that rounds hit in your bays count, makes your venue eligible to host sanctioned events, and gives you something concrete to advertise that a competitor down the road cannot simply claim.

Much of the assessment runs within the engine, so the inconvenience of our certification is minimal, and your bays can get back to work.
